Our Committee Plans for International Services for 2011-12.

INTL. SERVICE- DIRECTOR PP. RTN. KULDEEP SOLANKI

Another very important avenue of service, which also is a backbone of Rotary program. Our club has always very actively pursued the aims and objects under this avenue. International Service encompasses efforts to expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach around the world and to promote world understanding and peace. It includes everything from contributing to PolioPlus to .

In this area, Rotarians strive for the advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service. International Service Projects are designed to meet the humanitarian needs of people in many lands, with particular emphasis on the most underprivileged children and families in developing countries.

Rotary  Foundation  Committee  (Standing Committee)

This committee will present Foundation information to the membership, including avenues of giving. This committee assists club Rotarians in making donations to the Rotary International Foundation. It will encourage members to attend the annual Foundation Ball & Dinner in November

Friendship Exchange:

Youth Exchange

The purpose of this committee is to organize and promote youth exchanges with other countries in cooperation with the US and International Youth Exchange organizations. These exchanges provide students of secondary school age an opportunity to study or travel abroad for an academic year (Long Term) or 34 weeks (Short Term) for the purpose of advancing international understanding and goodwill.
